Can I get credit for an International Baccalaureate?
Students completing the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma with a
score of 30 or above will receive 30 quarter units total toward their
UCI undergraduate degree. Students completing only IB certificates or
who have a score below 30 on the diploma will be awarded 8 quarter units
for each IB Higher Level examination passed with a score of 5 or above.
UCI does not grant credit for certificates in Standard Level
examinations. Check with your major upon entrance to UCI to determine
how general education and/or major requirements may be waived with IB
credit.
