Traveling to UC Irvine


 

From Los Angeles

Take the 405 freeway south to Jamboree Road. Turn right on Jamboree, then left at Campus Drive and right at West Peltason Drive to enter the campus. UCI is located approximately one hour from Los Angeles.

 

From Riverside/San Bernardino

Take the 91 freeway west, to the 55 freeway south, to the 405 freeway south. Exit at Jamboree Road and turn right, then left at Campus Drive and right at West Peltason Drive to enter the campus. UCI is located approximately 50 minutes from Riverside.

 

From San Diego

Take Interstate 5 north to the 405 freeway. Exit at Culver and turn left. Proceed to Campus Drive and turn right. Turn left at West Peltason Drive to enter the campus. UCI is located approximately 90 minutes from San Diego.

 

Parking

Visitors may park in metered space for $2/half hour. Daily parking permits may be purchased for $8 at the kiosk located at the West Peltason Drive entrance. Also available are weekly permits for $29. Parking is limited, so please allow extra time before your appointment or tour. It is recommended that you park in the parking structure directly across from the Student Center, at West Peltason and Pereira Drives.



 

Traveling by Air

UC Irvine is located just two miles from John Wayne/Orange Country Airport. Cab fares run about $10. To drive to UC Irvine from the airport, follow the Campus Drive signs out of the airport and take Campus Drive to West Peltason Drive. Turn right to enter the campus.

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is located about 45 miles north of Irvine. SuperShuttle fare is about $50 per person from LAX to UC Irvine. For more information call (800) BLUE-VAN.

 

Traveling by Train

Amtrak offers daily north-south service to Irvine. Cab fares from the station to campus are about $15. Contact Amtrak at (800) 872-7245 for further information.
