- ...change my major?
The deadline to request a major change through the Admissions office is Monday,
June 1st at 9 a.m. You must submit your request on the MyAdmissionsApplication@UCI.
Your Admissions Counselor will notify you if it is approved. Approval depends on
whether you qualify for that new major and whether space is available in the
major. If you miss the June 1st deadline, you may be able to change your major
at summer orientation (SPOP), provided the new major is accepting major changes.
It's also possible to change majors after you've taken some classes at UCI.
Discuss this with your Academic Counselor when you attend summer orientation.
- ...notify UC Irvine of a failed course (D or F grade)?
Freshmen are responsible for reporting all D or F grades earned in the seventh
semester, in writing, as soon as possible. In some cases we may be able
to advise you of options that will enable you to remain UC-eligible.
Be sure to include your UC Irvine Student ID Number and mail your letter
